Christmas Decorating

I have never decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving before.  But this year I am ready.  That, and the fact that we will be out of town for Thanksgiving, urged me to get the tree up now.  Here are my boxes of decorations.

Unfortunately, after the tree was up (it is a pre-lit tree), I didn't feel like doing anything else, so that was as far as we got.  You can see the undecorated tree below with my hubby holding his Christmas present I asked him to pick up today.
