Holiday In the Park

We have been planning on getting our seasons passes to Six Flags, and since the weather was beautiful today-in the 80's-we figured there would not be a better day to go.  Holiday in the Park because the park is decorated for Christmas, and they have all kinds of winter treats to snack on.  Because of the weather, though, we just weren't in the mood for hot chocolate, so maybe we will go back later this month if it cools off some.

Our first ride for the day:  Pandemnium, which I had never been on. It was a neat roller coaster where 4 people sit to a car, all facing each other.  The car rotates while you go up and down the tracks.  I loved this ride until the very end-we were at the end of the track, waiting to be unloaded, but yet our car kept rotating.  That made me a little sick to my stomach, but otherwise it was a very fun ride!

Next we got in line for the Mine Train.  We almost always ride this small coaster.  It is nice because the lines are rarely long, as you can see from this picture.

We finished that and decided to check out a few games.

Next we got in line for Runaway Mountain-the indoor, lights off coaster, which is fun because you never know when you are about to drop or twist another direction.
After an hour of waiting and feeling like the line wasn't going anywhere, we finally gave up on this one.  I did get some neat snapshots while I waited, though.

We went from there to the Judge Roy Scream, another coaster that rarely has a long wait.
I took advantage of being by the small lake to get a few more pictures.

Six Flags.

We only ended up staying maybe 3 or 4 hours, but we are looking forward to going back soon.
