One thing we like to take our youth group to every year (although it doesn't happen every year depending on what else is going on) is Hell House. We walk through a bunch of scenes (like a bullying scene, abortion scene, drug scene, etc) and in each scenario, someone dies. Towards the end, you see where they end up-either heaven or hell. It is a great Haunted House alternative to get the students thinking about how their life choices affect their eternity. It is a popular event in our area, so the lines are long. Here is our group waiting in line in the cold.
Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to take pictures of the event. After it was over, we headed to White Rhino Coffeehouse to get something to warm us up.
What a great evening! I think our group both enjoyed it, and it got them thinking about eternal things.
