Quick Truck Fix

As I mentioned in my last post, my hubby's truck broke down yesterday.  The water pump went out.  This is something that he would normally fix on his own, but due to preparation for the busy month, he just didn't have the time to mess with it.  We took it to a shop in Venus, and I must say-it was so painless!  They fixed it up quickly, and even noticed his tire was low while they had it, so they patched it where the tire had a nail.  They even had a nice waiting room!  So glad the truck is fixed and running again!

Go Loco

Yesterday my hubby's truck broke down, so being in a hurry, he left it where it was.  This morning we went to pick it up to get it fixed, so we decided to pick up breakfast while we were out.  In Alvarado, there is a little taco restaurant in a gas station called Go Loco.  My hubby has been there a few times, and has really enjoyed their food.  He ordered migas with chorizo.  And while migas were my first choice, I saw how huge the portion was, and knew there was no way I could eat all that.  So I ordered a breakfast taco instead.  It came with egg, bacon, and cheese.  It was yummy!

At some point I hope to stop by Go Loco for lunch or dinner to try their regular tacos.  It was good, and I am sure we will be back.

Ink Stains!

After I finished digging in my purse today to get out my keys, I noticed something blue on my hand.  My first thought was nail polish-I have broken a bottle of nail polish in my purse before, and figured I should have learned my lesson by now, but I hadn't!  Turns out, it was actually an ink pen.  I took a shower right after this, and I figured washing my hair with the shampoo would work the ink stain off my hand, but it barely did anything!  My hubby suggested I use his Fast Orange.  It worked!  I will remember this stuff for future use!

Creation Museum

The boys have only been gone a couple days, but they are already having fun.  My mom posted this picture of them at the Creation Museum on her facebook today.  I hope they enjoy their time!

Good Byes

Today my boys got on a plane to fly to visit my mom for 3 weeks.  My grandma will come to see them while they are there, too.  I hope they have a lot of fun. My husband and I will be super busy the entire time they are gone working with Kids Camps.  I found this picture of the boys with their grandmas from a few months ago:
