Rainy Day

Ever since the drought this summer, my perspective on rain has changed.  It is just wonderful!  I changed my desktop wallpaper from snowy pictures to rainy pictures last week. So pretty!

I realize that I have blogged about the rain before, but it is just so refreshing!  It poured down during my commute (but I was carpooling so I didn't have to drive in it), and when I got home, we had to make a trip to the grocery store, so we got to go out in it.  I took joy in getting out my rain coat and rain boots.  It is a very cold, hard rain with occasional lightening and thunder-my favorite!  Now I am just letting my coat and boots drip-dry while I warm up under my blanket.  Refreshing!
