So Many Buttons!

My hubby has been looking to purchase a specific set of surround sound speakers for close to a year now.  On Black Friday, there was an amazing deal online for the speakers, so he finally got them.  Problem was, though, they put out such a high wattage, that the component couldn't keep up, and while watching tv we kept getting a break in the sound. So today he bought the new component to replace the old one.  I must admit, I am just a little intimidated by all the buttons on the remote!  Will I ever learn how to use it?
