This weekend while visiting my mother-in-law in the hospital, I figured I would donate blood while we were there. But when I went in for the pre-check up, my blood pressure was 90 over 62-very low, even for me. Right after that my iron test finished up, and it showed that my iron was at 37-which happens to be one point too low to donate. I did a quick search on low blood pressure, and found out that low iron causes blood pressure to drop. I guess that means I need to get plenty of meat this week to pick up my iron levels. I guess I will suffer for my health by eating meat this week!
