Missions Snack Bar Fundraiser

A few weeks back, our youth group pledged to give $6000 to missions this year.  Some of this money will come by way of donations from the teenagers themselves.  And some of the money we will earn by way of fundraising.


Last night we had our first fundraiser of the year:  a snack bar at a movie night for the 20 and 30-somethings at our church.  We were donated $100 worth of groceries to help get started-which is an amazing blessing!  Our menu last night consisted of burgers, hot dogs, nachos, and "walking tacos", along with popcorn, candy, chips, and sodas.  I am so honored to be a part of a church that has events like these, and I hope they grow to something larger in the upcoming months as the ministry to this age group emerges.
